Objective - Uplifting the livelihood of rural smallholder dairy farmers by enhancing the quality and quantity of fresh milk

Project activities and benefits
• Arrange affordable credit facility (Rs. 100,000) at 6.5% interest rate and a grant facility, worth of Rs. 35,000 and to make the farmers bankable
• Assist the farmers for cattle shed renovation, new cattle shed construction, and buying cows trough financial assistance
• Introduce effective GAP and entrepreneurship skills to increase the productivity from current production of 15L to 20L periodically
• Provide extension support, exposure visits and train the farmers on good farm management practices
• Provide trainings and infrastructure support to rare cattle under the intensive and semi intensive methods to minimize weather impact /risk
• Promote unemployed women to join dairy value chain by improving technical skills
• Train the beneficiaries on basic financial literacy and household budget management
• Enhance savings habits by 10% by introducing compulsory saving mechanisms
• Educate beneficiaries on impact of climate change, resilience with adaptation of mitigation measures, nutrition, solid waste management, and gender
