SAPP Sri Lanka successfully concluded second phase of the technical training for Moringa farmers in Anuradhapura District. This is the first time they engaged in commercial farming of Moringa under the guidance of SAPP. The training facilitated by the officers of Dept. of Agriculture Sri Lanka, promoter company and by PMU staff. This 4P required approximately 100,000 Moringa plants to be cultivated to reach finish product target and this plant production challenge is accepted by SAPP supported young women entrepreneurs who are linked to this value chain. Now they have completed over 50% of the project requirement.
