The viability of investments in 4P projects greatly influenced by improving the common infrastructure facilities identified in rural areas which will finally provide many benefits to SAPP beneficiaries and other farming communities in the area which will deepen the impact and outreach of 4P partnership projects implemented. Hence, SAPP provide financial assistance for the improvement to common infrastructure facilities identified by beneficiaries in rural areas and will be implemented with the support of line agency responsible for such activities. Improvements to agriculture roads, minor irrigation facilities, culverts, anicuts and collecting points are some of the common infrastructure development interventions identified to improve the productivity and quality of the produce benefitting smallholder farmers in the area reducing cost of production and also to enhance the social status of the families living in those areas.
